West Bay Camping Resort is located 2 miles from town on Lake Thompson in Rhinelander Wisconsin. One reason that Wisconsin's Northwoods is a favorite vacation destination, is the lure of the woods and lakes dominate. West Bay Camping Resort and its' individual campsites are cradled in the woods along 1,700 feet on beautiful Lake Thompson, provides all the excitement, activities, and fun that woods and water can offer.

West Bay Camping Resort showcases the natural ground cover, shrubs, hardwoods, and pines of the forest that surrounds it. The campground is a preserved piece of the woods themselves. West Bay has all the amenities: showers, store, laundry, heated pool, Internet, boat rentals and much more!

We offer 10 tent/primitive sites, 45 full hook up sites (water sewer electric) and we also have 5 fully equipped cabins.
